Alter Ego was conceived of a love of change and desire for renewal. Using high quality materials, proven industry standards and myriad inspiration, we restore-refinish-revitalize cast aside furnishings. A lot of heart and ingenuity mixed with a little sweat of the brow and elbow grease transforms each piece into its most fabulous version. It’s like furniture alchemy happens here.

With creative vision, the best materials and a solid plan, we believe the dilapidated and discarded can be made stunning and useful. We believe our surroundings to be the reflection of our hearts and minds.
We believe salvaged, hand-painted furniture isn't supposed to have a flawless factory finish. Much like us humans, there will be imperfections and blemishes from time served in this realm we call life. There will be brush strokes and textures over scratches and dents (also known as personality and character). There will be artistic embellishments like moulds and stenciling to accentuate the original design (and occasionally hide a scar).
Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder--and we believe THAT is purely a matter of perspective. Refinished furniture is not made. It's conceived and created in hearts and minds. Then resurrected into, you know, an Alter Ego.
